The family of Willis Jones, of Howard Center Twp., are having more than their share of sorrow and trouble this spring. Just a few weeks ago they lost a little babe and on Tuesday their oldest boy, Harry Leslie, aged about 16 years, passed away as the result of an attack of typhoid fever. The father and two other children are also seriously ill with the same disease. The remains of the boy were taken yesterday to their former home near Farmersburg, Ia., for interment in the Gunder Cemetery.

Harry Leslie, oldest son of Willis and Augusta Jones, was born in Wagner Township, Clayton County, Iowa, July 17, 1892, and died April 14, 1908, at the young age of 15 years, 8 months and 28 days. Besides his many friends, he leaves to mourn a father, mother, four brothers and one sister; two sisters preceding him, one dying Sept. 2, 1891, the other March 11, 1908, both at the tender age of 7 months. Funeral services were held in the U.B. church at Wagner, Clayton County, April 16th. Interment in the family cemetery at that place.
