Obituary.
Mary Kenneally
At her home in Cox Creek twp., on Monday afternoon, August 12th, 1907, Mary, beloved daughter of Thomas and Margaret Keneally, passed away at the tender age of 17 years, 6 months and 12 days. after a lingering illness of consumption. No pains were spared for her recovery, every remedy that could be suggested to a dutiful daughter and affectionate sister were given her but science did its all in vain and every effort was unavailing. It was her wish that her chosen friends would carry her to her last resting place and this was faithfully carried out. They were: Katie Lane, Ethel McCarron, Louise Baldridge, Anna Behrens, Elsie Alderson, and Lillie Baldridge. Requiem high mass was celebrated Wednesday at Sacred Heart church by Rev. Father Hartigan. There are left to mourn her loss an aged father, a dear mother and three brothers, Davo, Ed and Earl, also two sisters, Mrs. Clarence Pugh and Julia, all of this place.
(Note: The surname Keneally/Kenneally was spelled both ways in the obituary.)
