Halver Giselson (sic), an old and respected citizen of near Gunder died Tuesday evening of this week. He was never able to speak from the time he was stricken with heart trouble until he passed away. Mr. Giselson was over eighty years old and has many friends who will deeply mourn his passing. Funeral services will be held from the Marion Lutheran church Friday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock.
Note: correct spelling of surname is Gisleson, as is on his gravestone in the Marion Lutheran cemetery, Gunder. DOB from gravestone = 02/08/1826
