FAIRCHILD, FAIRCHILDS, CARNER

Elkader Register, Thur., 21 Mar. 1907. Strawberry Point column.

This Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home of her mother, Mrs. Mary Carner, will occur the funeral of Mrs. Nellie Fairchild, who passed away at Placerville, Cal., March 8, 1907. The body of Mrs. Fairchild, accompanied by her husband, H. G. Fairchilds, arrived here yesterday morning. Interment will be in the local cemetery, Rev. C. E. Drew being in charge of the funeral and burial services.

(Note: The surname Fairchild/Fairchilds was spelled both ways in the article.)
