Frank H. Hofer, a member of the well known Hofer family, formerly of McGregor, died at Salem, Oregon, on the 24th, aged 49 years. He was a newspaper man.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he is buried in City View Cemetery in Salem, Oregon and that he was born October 31, 1856. Also that his middle initial was X.
