Henry Hannaman, who had been sick for about a month, died at his home on Saturday evening, of pneumonia. Mr. Hannaman had not felt well for some time, and about January 1st contracted the grippe, which later developed into pneumonia. He was confined to his bed for only five days when death relieved him. He was a member of the town council and also of the Modern Brotherhood and the Modern Woodman Lodge of Elkport, in which he took an active interest. He was buried on Wednesday at the Hansel cemetery, Rev. Todd Hansel officiating. Members of both lodges attended the funeral. Deceased leaves besides his wife three children, Mildred, Harrison and Cyril, and three sisters, Mrs. Poke Thayer, of Montana; Mrs. Claus Lutje, of Guttenberg; and Mrs. Christian Maack, of Delaware, a grandchild, Donald Flaherty, and a large circle of friends. May he rest in peace.
