Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 27 Jan. 1916. Monona column.

Mrs. Elizabeth Grube, wife of David Grube, a former resident of Monona township, died at her home in Warm Springs, Mont., Thursday, January 13th. The remains were brought to Monona, reaching here Wednesday evening, and the burial took place in the Monona cemetery on Thursday morning. She was 76 years of age.

(Note: WPA records show Sarah E. Grube, 1839 - 13 Jan. 1916, buried in Monona cemetery.)
