Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 27 Jan. 1916. Luana column.

J. L. Eno left Wednesday for Sheffield, Iowa, in response to a telegram telling that his mother, Mrs. Wm. Eno, Sr., was seriously ill with la grippe. She died Saturday afternoon at the age of 85 years and was brought home Monday. Funeral was held on Wednesday afternoon. Burial in the Eno cemetery.
