A memorial Mass for Erin Pichik was held Saturday, July 10, 1999 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Dubuque.

Erin Elizabeth Pichik was born February 28, 1973 at Guttenberg Municipal Hospital to John and Rose Anne (McGreal) Pichik of Littleport. Since September 1975, she was a resident of Hills and Dales Child Development Center in Dubuque.

Erin passed away at Mercy Hospital in Dubuque on July 8, 1999, following a brief illness. She was 26. Erin enjoyed music and being outdoors in the fresh air and sunshine. She will be fondly remembered for her strong will and determination.

Erin was preceded in death by her mother and a brother, Joel. Survivors include her father, sister Becky and husband John Ruff of Monona; a brother Marc Pichik; a special friend Christy Tvrdik of Ingleside, IL; nephew and niece Tony and Katrina Ruff; aunts, uncles and cousins, and many loving caregivers, both past and present.
