John L. Roy De Moss was born in Rockford, Ill., on August 10th, 1849, and died at his home near County Corners on August 9th, 1916. He leaves to mourn his death his sorrowing wife, two daughters and six sons, two having preceded him in death. The funeral was held from the County Corners Church at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon. The sympathy of all is extended to the bereaved family.
