John Enright of Maple Leaf, David O’Donnell, Mrs. John O’Brian and Mrs. James Clancy were summoned to North McGregor to attend the funeral of John O’Donnell, who died Sunday morning, March 10, 1907.

At North McGregor, March 10th, occurred the death of John O'Donnell, for thirty-three years flagman at the depot crossing of the Milwaukee railroad. Was born in Canada in 1839. Came to this country in early manhood, and at the outbreak of the Civil War enlisted in Co. F, 3rd Iowa Infantry and served his adopted country for over three years. Wife and two children are living. John's familiar form at the railroad crossing will be missed by many old friends.
