At Mederville on Wednesday night, Jan. 18, occurred the death of Mrs. James Wick, from that dread disease, consumption., with which she had been suffering for about six months.
Bertha Louella Penrod was born about 25 years ago, and has been married about 8 years. She leaves to mourn her death, her husband, one daughter, Etta, a step-daughter, father and mother, one sister and a brother, besides other relatives and a large number of friends. She was a loving wife, affectionate daughter, a kind mother and a true friend.
The remains were taken to North Buena Vista for burial, Rev. Clark, of Cassville, officiating. May her soul rest in peace.
