Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 25 May 1911.

Yesterday morning at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Sturm, about a mile north of Osborne, occurred the death of their son John at the age of 19 years, after an illness of about three months.

He was born on Feb. 13th, 1892, and has lived with his parents in this county since his birth. He was a member of the M.B.A. lodge at Osborne. He leaves to mourn his untimely death his parents, two sisters, Mollie and Marie, and one brother Clarence, besides other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at the Congregational church, Rev. R. G. Heddon officiating, and his remains laid to rest in the East Side cemetery.

May his soul rest in peace.
