The sad news of the death of Mrs. George Suddendorf, Friday noon, came as a shock to her friends in this vicinity. Hulda Suddendorf, nee Kurth, was born Aug. 30th, 1886, and died September 8th, 1911, aged 25 years and 9 days. In 1906 she was married to George Suddendorf, with whom she lived happily for the past five years. She leaves to mourn her death, her husband, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kurth; three sisters and four brothers and one grandmother. The funeral services were held Monday afternoon in the Evangelical church in Wagner township, Rev. Guetzlaff officiating in German assisted by Rev. Rabe, who spoke in English. Interment in cemetery adjoining church.
