Page 2 column twoWE REGRET A GREAT LOSS.
Northeastern Iowa was shocked by the death of one of its ablest publishers, Albert S. Tousley of Waukon, who died at the height of his capabilities as the result of injuries suffered in an automobile and truck collision.
It was our privilege to know Editor Tousley for only a little over three years, yet we admired him as a man who believed in his profession and his own abilities.
More and more we have come to respect the man or woman who shows in their daily life adherence to a single, illuminating purpose or principle.
More and more we have come to realize an individual who has planned his life and lives by and believes in his plan radiates a depth of personality which we respect and enjoy Of Editor Tousley, we can say the plan and the purpose were there, and our respect and affection were sincere, our loss heartfelt.
