Again heaven's gates have opened,
And another is ushered in.
Another of earth's beloved one's
To be tempted no more to Sin.

His bark has sailed among us,
O'er many a troubled sea.
He is anchored now forever
Where storms can never be.

The trials and tempest's are over
The storms and the breakers are past.
Now beyond heavens portals forever
Yes, life's voyage oe'r at last.

At rest from the world's temptation
Free from care, sorrow and pain.
For over life's troubled waters
Cometh sweet peace again.

Peace for the careworn and weary,
Who've toiled to the heat and strife.
Rest sweet rest for the tempted
Yes at last eternal life.

Beyond heavens portals he's waiting
Waiting and Waiting for thee,
Friends and wife and children
When you shall cross death's sea.
