William Henry Birrer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Birrer, was born at Dubuque, Iowa, Jan. 26th, 1896, and died Tuesday, Nov. 7, 1911, at the home of his parents southwest of town, after a two weeks' illness of blood poisoning. The family moved to a farm near here when William was a child four or five years old and since that time have lived in this community. He was baptized in the Lutheran church when a baby and was confirmed in the church at this place with the class of 1910. He leaves to mourn his death, besides his father and mother, one sister older and a younger brother. Funeral services were held in the German Lutheran church Thursday afternoon, conducted by the pastor, Rev. Graf, after which the body was laid to rest in our beautiful cemetery.
