Mrs. Henry Nuhring

Surnames Buchholz, Harting, Johnson, Nuhring

Mrs. Henry Nuhring was born April 25, 1862 in Clayton County Iowa. When a child with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Heinrich Buchholz, she came to Butler County. On March 21, 1875, she united with the Lutheran church and was confirmed by pastor Engelke. On April 21, 1881, she was united in marriage to Henry Nuhring. For the past nine years they have lived at Grove Lake, Minn., having retired from their farm. Mrs. Nuhring had been in poor health for the past two years, and on the morning of March 17th she was taken seriously ill and passed away March 22, 1919. She leaves to mourn her death the husband, two sons and two daughters. The children are Mesdames Will Harting and Nels Johnson, and Alfred and Emil, all living near Grove Lake, Minn. Other relatives are her aged father, mother, five brothers and two sisters, and five grandchildren. She had attained the age of 57 years. Services and burial was held at Grove Lake, conducted by Rev. J. H. Kretschmar.
