Elkader Register, Thur., 2 Sept. 1926. Strawberry Point column.

Last Friday word was received here of the death of Mrs. L. C. Bloomer of Fairbault, Minn., after a three weeks illness. Mrs. Bloomer, nee Miss Alma, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. F. Schoentag, was born at this place. After graduating from the local high school she taught until she was united in marriage to Lloyd C. Bloomer, May 2, 1921. She is survived by her husband and two children, the youngest a babe of two weeks, also her parents, four sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Anna Davis, the Misses Gertrude and Esther Schoentag of this place, Mrs. Alice Gehring of Elgin, Harold Schoentag, a teacher at Washington, Iowa. The relatives left at once to attend the funeral.

(Note: The second brother was not named in the article.)
