Elkader Register, Thur., 17 June 1926. Monona column.

Mr. Will Hubacher received word Saturday of the death of his father at Mason City. His death was caused by heart trouble. They left that afternoon for Mason City. Funeral will be at McGregor Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Congregational church.

(Note: WPA records indicate this is a reference to John Hubacher, 1848 - 1926, buried at McGregor.)
