Elkader Register, Thur., 15 April 1926. Monona column.

Miss Etta Fonda was taken seriously ill Easter Sunday morning. Dr. Kessel of Cresco was called and it was decided she should go to the hospital. She was accompanied by Miss Esther Fonda. At last reports she was getting along as well as could be expected.

Later: Miss Fonda passed away Sunday. Funeral services were held yesterday.

Note: Henrietta 'Etta' Fonda is buried in the Monona City cemetery
