Elkader Register, Thur., 25 Mar. 1926. Strawberry Point column.

The remains of George Mitchell of Los Angeles, Cal., arrived last Friday evening. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Congregational church, conducted by Rev. Maxwell. Besides his wife he leaves one daughter, Mrs. Grace Esch of this city, and one son, Guy Mitchell of Los Angeles, besides other relatives and friends. Interment was made in the local cemetery.
