Elkader Register, Thur., 25 Mar. 1926.

Mrs. Charles Meisner passed away at the family home here last Thursday afternoon after a long illness, at the age of nearly sixty years.

She was born July 24, 1867, at Boston, Mass. Her parents were James and Mary McGee. At the age of three years she came here with the family and settled near Elkader. She was united in marriage to Chas. Meisner here at St. Joseph's church

Surviving relatives are her husband, one daughter, Mary Jane, one sister, Mrs. George Rothmeyer and one brother, John
McGee.

Mrs. Meisner was a member of the St. Joseph's Catholic church, the Rosary society and the Women's Catholic Order of Foresters.

Funeral services were held last Sunday forenoon at St. Joseph's church, Rev. James P. Taken officiating. Burial in St. Joseph's cemetery.
