Elkader Register, Thur., 11 February 1926. Strawberry Point column.

The remains of Henry D. Staehle of Minneapolis were brought here last Thursday. The funeral services were held at the Congregational church Friday afternoon under the auspices of the Masonic lodge, assisted by the pastor, Rev. Maxwell. Interment took place in the local cemetery. He leaves to mourn his death his wife, formerly Miss Rita Smith, and two children, Maxine and George Albert. Also his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carol Knoll, all of Kansas City, Mo., and who were present at the funeral services.

Mrs. Rita Staehle and children have returned to their home at Minneapolis. Mrs. Staehl's mother, Mrs. Flora Smith, accompanied them.

(Note: The surname Staehle/Staehl was spelled both ways in these news items.)
