Funeral services will be held in the Evangelical church here this afternoon at 1:30 for Mrs. Louis Reinke, who died in her home in Coleville Monday afternoon at four o'clock.

Interment will be made in the East Side cemetery with the Rev. Paul Kitterer officiating.

Mrs. Louis Reinke died at her home here in Elkader, Monday Dec. 5, at 5 p.m., following a stroke of the day before. She had been confined to her home, however, for the last two years.

Mrs. Maria (Duede) Reinke was born June 8, 1867 in Germany, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. Duede. In 1886 she was married to W. T. Shierholtz at Elkport and to this union three children were born, all of whom preceded the mother in death and her husband died in 1914.

Dec. 25, 1915, she was married to Louis Reinke at Garber, who together with one sister, Mrs. Anne Steinbeck of Colesburg, and one half-brother in Montana, survive. Before coming to Elkader the deceased resided in Elkport and also Read township.

Funeral services were held at the late home last Thursday, Dec. 8, at 1:00 p.m. and in the Evangelical church at 2:30. Interment was made in the East Side cemetery, the Rev. Paul Kitterer officiating.
