Clayton County Register, Thur., 15 Dec. 1932.
GARBER: Mrs. Minnie Smith, nee Hansel, 38, died Monday evening at her home near Garber, following a lingering illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Squire Hansel.
Surviving are her husband, Winfrey Smith, three children, Clyde, Elma and Chester; three sisters, Mrs. Albert Hageman, Mrs. Gertrude Jennings, and Mrs. Aaron Harbaugh; one brother, Palmer Hansel, all near Garber. She will be missed by other relatives and a host of friends.
The funeral will be at St. John's Evangelical church at Garber, at 2 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. Wm. Meyer of Wood center will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Harmony cemetery.
