STRAWBERRY POINT: Alex Porter received word from Charlie Baird at Crookston, Minn., announcing that his sister, Mrs. Ida Scofield Rawson of Lewiston, Idaho, died Friday, Nov. 11, after a lingering illness. Mrs. Rawson will be remembered as Miss Ida Baird, formerly of this place, but for the past eight years she has resided at Lewiston. She was a successful teacher in our public school. She was united in marriage to the late George H. Scofield, Aug 1, 1900. Several years after the death of Mr. Scofield, she was again united in marriage to Edward Rawson of Lewiston, Ida., where the home has since been. Mr. Rawson preceded her in death a few years ago. She is survived by one brother, Charlie Baird, of Crookston, Minn., and one nephew. She was a member of the local R. N. of A. lodge and the O.E.S. chapter. The body was laid to rest in the cemetery at Lewiston last Wednesday.
