Josephine Louise Miller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur M. Miller, died at the home of her parents here Thursday evening, Sept. 8th, as a result of lock-jaw, after an illness of only one day.

Josephine Louise was born Aug. 8, 1928, in Littleport and came to the Chas. Peick farm with her parents about two years ago.

Besides her grief-stricken parents she is survived by two sisters, Theresa and Anna, and the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Miller and Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Peick.

Funeral services were held last Sunday forenoon at 10:00 in St. Joseph's church here and interment was made in St. Joseph's cemetery, the Rev. J. P. Taken officiating.

Dr. Merrill Miller, of Ossian, an uncle, was here to attend the funeral.
