Deceased was born Oct. 17th, 1852, in Ringeslage, Germany. In 1880 she was united in marriage to Mr. William Koehn in Schoenburg, Germany. ~Garnavillo Tribune, Thursday, November 13, 1919
Notes: Enumerated as Fredereka on the 1915 Iowa State census and as Reka on the 1910 U.S. census. Maiden name is from the record of her marriage to Herman Suckow, also her parents: Joachim Behrends & Elizabeth [?Bulerfeldt / Butterfeldt]. The reference to burial in "old cemetery" possibly indicates the Old Garnavillo cemetery, but this has not been confirmed.
