The funeral of Wm. Obermoeller was held here Saturday afternoon, with services at St. Paul's Church, Rev. Braun officiating. Burial was made in the old cemetery.
F. Wm. Obermoeller, son of Mr. and Mrs. August Obermoeller, was born on Aug. 6th, 1890, at the home place in Farmersburg township. He was christened on Sept. 14th, 1890, and confirmed at St. Paul's Church on April 3rd, 1910.
He had always been at home, assisting his father on the farm. Last winter he had an attack of the flu and since that time suffered severe headaches. On June 7th, one of these attacks was unusually severe from which he suddenly became relieved and for a short time was unable to see, due, it is supposed, to bursting of a blood-vessel, and from this time on his mind seemed to be affected.
On the morning of June 18th, he ended his life by shooting himself, leaving his parents and four sisters: Mrs. Anna Bierbaum, Mrs. August Nieman and Minnie and Marie, to mourn his untimely death.
