Funeral services for Frank Meisner will be held in the Evangelical church here this afternoon at two o'clock.
Mr. Meisner died at his home west of Elkader Monday evening at 9:15, after a lingering illness.

Frank P. Meisner died at his home in Highland township Monday evening, Aug. 1, 1932, at 9:15. His illness extended over a period of three years. Mr. Meisner was born in Wagner township, on a farm four miles west of Elkader, July 2, 1862.
He was married to Frances D. Wagner May 22nd, 1895. One little daughter, Frances Esther, came into the home, but did not stay, passing away the same day as her birth.
Mr. Meisner was familiarly known as "Frank" among a large circle of friends and acquaintances.
He was faithfully cared for during his long illness by his devoted wife, who felt that no effort on her part was too hard, if it might lead to his relief, or recovery.
Funeral services were held at the Evangelical church at Elkader, Rev. Paul Kitterer officiating. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife and two brothers, Charles and Lou, of Elkader, besides numerous relatives and friends.
