The home of Mrs. Meryl Burkhart was saddened Sunday evening by the death of her mother, Mrs. Bevins.

Mrs. Bevins had been ill for several years.

Mr. and Mrs. Bevins came to Guttenberg several years ago and have been residing with their daughter, Mrs. Burkhart. Mr. Bevins, two daughters, Meryl and Becky, and several grandchildren mourn her death.

The funeral was held from the residence of Mrs. Burkhart. Burial was made in the city cemetery.
