Mrs. Kathyrn Bonnell was born in Wagner township, Clayton county, Iowa, on November 5, 1884, and died after an auto accident in Wausau, Wis., on June 2, 1932. She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Ida Crane of Elkader, her father, Ed Patterson of Oregon, her husband R. A. Bonnell of Chicago, to whom she was married on January 5, 1931, a daughter by a previous marriage, Mrs. Ivanelle Loomis of Chicago, and two grandchildren, Arlene and Forrest Loomis. She is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Amy Oakley of Cedar Rapids, by two brothers, Harley Patterson of Peoria, Ill., and Reo Patterson of California, and by a step-brother, L. D. Crane of Mason City, Iowa.

Mrs. Bonnell was a member of the Elkader chapters of the D.A.R. and Service Star, and of the Elkader Congregational church. The funeral service was held at that church Friday afternoon, June 3, with the Rev. C. T. Brewster officiating. The burial took place in the East Side cemetery.
