Clayton County Register, Thur. 31 Mar. 1932. Strawberry Point column.

R. W. Schug received the sad message Monday morning from Santa Monica, Calif., that his mother, Mrs. Rosena Schug, aged 89 years, had passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Rose Hedges. The body will be brought here for funeral services and interment. Obituary next week.

Clayton County Register, Thur., 7 Apr. 1932.

The body of Mrs. Rosena Schug, who died last Monday, March 28,, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Rose Hedges, at Santa Monica, Cal., will be brought here Friday, April 8th. Funeral services will be at the Lutheran church Sunday afternoon, April 10th.

(Note: No further obit was found in this newspaper throughout the month of April, 1932.)
