Another pioneer farm woman, Louisa Luckerman, died at her home near here Sunday. Services were held at the home Wednesday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Allshouse, and interment was in Giard cemetery.
Louisa Klotzbach, daughter of Nicholas and Elizabeth Klotzbach, was born in Giard township March 21, 1858, and after a brief spell of bronchial pneumonia, died March 20, 1932, just the day before her seventy-fourth birthday.
On March 2, 1882, she was united in marriage to C. L. Luckerman. To this union two children were born, Elmer, at home, and Mrs. E. F. Moyer of Dekolb, Ill.
Besides these two children, she leaves to mourn her husband, four sisters, Martha, Lizzie, Mrs. Lena Butts, and Mrs. Julia Hoefner of Montana, also three brothers, Will, Edward and Henry. She also leaves seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She, with her husband, have been members of the Methodist church in McGregor for years.
