Mrs. Sarah Brown Adams passed away at the home of her nephew, Leslie Brown, at Cresco, January 16, 1932.

Deceased was born at Green Lake, Wis., Feb. 8, 1856, the daughter of John and Jane Brown. She came to Iowa with her parents in the year 1866 and settled on a farm in Monona township, and there she resided until her marriage to W. Q. Adams in 1892, when they moved to Farmersburg, where they lived until his death, Oct. 2, 1916.

In the year 1917 she went to Cresco to make her home with her brother, William Brown, who preceded her in death July, 1924. Since then she has made her home with her nephew, Leslie Brown, and wife, where she received the best of care.

She passed away Saturday afternoon, January 16, 1932, after an illness of six months. The body was brought to the home of her niece, Mrs. Otto Fueling, Sunday afternoon, from which place the funeral was held Monday afternoon.

She was a faithful worker in the M.E. church during her residence at Farmersburg.

Rev. Feller of Giard officiated. Burial was made in the Farmersburg and Wagner cemetery.
