Elkader Register, Thur., 3 Jan. 1901. St. Olaf column.

DIED of lung fever, Tuesday, Dec. 25, 1900, Walter, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Englehart, aged four months. He was sick but a few days but suffered more than tongue can tell, until the angel of death hovered around and bore him away on its white wings of love to the happy world above, where pain and suffering is no more. He was a loving and beautiful child and will be greatly missed at home and at Grandma's. The entire community sympathizes with the bereaved parents. The funeral took place Friday Dec. 28th, at 10 a.m., and he was laid to rest in the Farmersburg cemetery.
