Elkader Register, Thur., 21 Feb. 1901. Elkport and Vicinity column.

Frederick Adler, one of the oldest residents of Elkport, died last Friday. He was about 81 years of age. During his long residence in Elkport he was always looked upon as an honorable, upright man, a good citizen and a kind and indulgent parent. The funeral took place Sunday and was largely attended, Rev. Fritschel officiating.
