Elkader Register, Thur., 21 Feb. 1901. Elkport and Vicinity column.

Mrs. Catherine Schultz died at the home of her son in Elk township, Friday aged 80 years. The funeral was held on Sunday,, Rev. Helbig officiating. Just one week ago her husband died and it was her one wish that she might soon be laid by his side. May she rest in peace.
