Elkader Register, Thur., 14 March 1901. Boehm's Mound column.

The infant child of Dyer Hall and wife died Saturday, aged one week. The funeral service was held Saturday at 10 a.m., at the Catholic church. The pall bearers were Katie Zapf, Lizzie Schnepf, Julia McDonald and Grace Strube. We sympathize with the afflicted parents.

Note: the wife of Dyer Hall is named as Margaret McMorrow in his 1943 obituary. Burial of the parents is in St. Michael's Catholic cemetery, near Elkport. The Elkader Argus, 3/6/1901, Elkport column, states the infant was buried in the catholic cemetery.
