Charles S. Blair was born in Madison county, N.Y., Jan. 15th, 183_, and died May 18th, 1901, of the injuries received in the runaway going home from church the Sunday before. He was a member of the M.E. church to which he was always faithful. The funeral was held Sunday from their beautiful home and the remains laid to rest in the Volga cemetery. He is survived by his widow, two daughters, an adopted son, Fred Ebendorf, who has been with them fourteen years, and two brothers.
