Elkader Argus, Wed., 25 Dec. 1901.

Mrs. Ed. Moore a former resident of this township, died at Chicago Thursday morning. She was about 80 years of age and left Boardman township some 20 years since. The remains were brought here Friday and services held at St. Joseph's church Saturday morning. She left two daughters, Mrs. Dan Tully of Chicago, and Mrs. Frank Liddy of Rock Valley, Ia., and a son Patrick now living in San Francisco. Mr. and Mrs. Tully and Mrs. Liddy were in attendance at the funeral as were also John Moore of Dubuque, a son of Patrick Moore, and John Moore Jr. of Turkey River.
