Burial services for Terry Borden, 11, were held Wednesday at Hill Crest cemetery in Volga. Terry, oldest son of Thomas and Ethel Moore Borden, died Saturday while playing with other youths in a box car near his home at Sanborn, Iowa. His clothing caught, when he fell, causing strangulation. He was a grade pupil in the Sanborn schools, where his father is a high school teacher.

Surviving besides his parents, formerly of Volga, are two younger brothers, Scott and Ricky; also his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Randall Borden and Mrs. Ira C. Moore of Volga. An infant sister preceded him a few years ago.
