Funeral services for Miss Emma Louise Hagensick, 77, were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Elkader. The Rev. G. L. Milbrath officiated. Burial was in the East Side cemetery.

Pallbearers were: George Heins, Amos Hagensick, Hale Burling,, Chas. Stiehl, Alvin Vogt and Art Hochhaus.

Born in Read Township on July 16, 1881, Miss Hagensick died Monday, April 20, at Memorial Hospital in Prairie du Chien, Wis. She was a daughter of Christian and Barbara Schmidt Hagensick.

She had made her home in Elkader for many years, where she was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church and of its Ladies Aid.

Surviving are three sisters: Mrs. Sophia Possehl, Mrs. Emilie Lenth and Mrs. Lenora Kurdelmeyer; three nieces, Miss Elsie Possehl, Mrs. Helen Dickman and Mrs. Lorene Heins, all of Monona; six great-nieces and one great-nephew.
