Clayton County Register, Thur., 9 April 1959.

Mrs. Emma K. Kruse was born in Clayton County, Sept. 7, 1880, and died April 3, 1959, at a St. Paul, Minn., hospital.

In 1897 she was married to John C. Kruse at Clayton Center.

They lived for a while in South Dakota and in 1927 moved to Minneapolis, which was her home at the time of her death.

She was a member of the Gustavus Adolphus Lutheran Church, Minneapolis, and the Royal Neighbors lodge.

She was preceded in death by her husband and is survived by two children, Adelia Kruse, Long Beach, Calif., and Alice McCann, Minneapolis; two brothers, William Ebendorf, Topeka, Kan., and Fred Ebendorf, Brush, Colo.; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday, April 6, 1959, at the Zion Lutheran Church, Clayton Center, with the Rev. L. C. Urlaub officiating. Burial was at the Clayton Center cemetery.

Pallbearers were Elmer Glawe, Lawrence Glawe, Harley Seeland, Harold Seeland, John Kluth Sr. and John Kluth. Jr.
