Clayton County Register, Thur. 18 June 1953.

Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Wm. Wiest of LaSueur, Minn., June 3. Mrs. Wiest was the daughter of Herman Otting and Augusta, nee Dettman, formerly of Garnavillo. She was born September 18, 1874, and had spent her lifetime on the farm home near LaSueur.

Surviving are two sons, Elmer and Paul, and one daughter, Mrs. Ernest J_ntz, all of LaSueur. Also nine grandchildren.
