Sharon Jean Kricke of McGregor, Iowa died on Saturday, December 11, 2004 at her home of an apparent heart attack. She was 56 years old. Memorial services were held on Tuesday, December 14 at the Thornburg-Hanson Funeral Home in McGregor with burial at a later date in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in McGregor.

Sharon Jean was born on December 8, 1948 in McGregor to Earl and Mildred (Leach) Kleinow. She attended Mar-Mac High School and married John M. Kricke on May 16, 1966 in Elkader, Iowa. She was a homemaker and did in-home work for the Monona Wire Company.

Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, John, who passed away on February 2, 2000. Sharon is survived by a son Daniel (Peggy) Kricke of Monona, Iowa and three daughters Pamela (Joseph) Surdi of St. Petersburg, Florida; Mary Sue Kricke and Jennifer (Larry) Pritchard of McGregor; three grandchildren; a brother William (Sherlyn) Kleinow of Lancaster, Wisconsin; a sister Karen (Lennie) Pillard of Merillan, Wisconsin; sisters-in-law Vickie Kleinow of McGregor, Jane Kleinow of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin and Cathy Goldstein of Minneapolis, Minnesota; brothers-in-law Michael Kricke of McGregor and Hank Beck of Garber, Iowa.
