Elkader Register, Thur., 29 Sept. 1921. Luana column.
The remains of Mrs. Warn, widow of former well known stockbuyer, Ed. Warn, of Luana, was brought here Thursday for burial from Dexter, Minn. She suffered a stroke of apoplexy the week previous from which she never rallied, dying Monday evening, Sept. 19th, aged nearly 82 years. The two sons, Bert and Harley, and daughter, Mrs. Kirkwood and husband, of Dexter, Minnesota, nephew, Sam Butts, and niece, Mrs. Chas Feles, of Mason City, and nephew, Frank Butts, of Froelich, were here for the burial.
