Elkader Register, Thur., 7 July 1921. Strawberry Point column.

The death of Fred Strehlow, a former resident of this place, but for some time has been making his home with his daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Carpenter, at Fayette, occurred last Friday evening. He had been in poor health for some time. He leaves three daughters and three sons, besides other relatives and friends to mourn his death. Funeral services were held here Tuesday afternoon, in the M.E. church, conducted by Rev. Kirbry.

Mrs. John Tinker went to Fayette last Friday evening called by the death of Fred Strehlow.
