Elkader Register, Thur., 5 May 1921. McGregor column.

Word was received last Monday of the death by a stroke of apoplexy of Ray Bachtell, son of Mrs. Delia Bachtell of McGregor. When Foster Hunting went west several years ago, Ray accompanied him, taking his family to make a new home in British Columbia. His wife, who was Louise McWilliams, and their nine children survive him. Their home the past few years has been in Seattle, Wash.
